DSH / TestDaF Certificate
What is DSH?
DSH (Deutsche Sprachprüfung für den Hochschulzugang ausländischer Studienbewerber)
is held by
German universities in accordance with standardized regulations valid throughout
Germany.
The dates for the DSH are set by each university itself. DSH is held twice per year, one around April and the
other in September.
You will be able to register at your university after you pass the DSH (or TestDaF) examination.
However, it is important to know that unlike TestDaf DSH may only be retaken once.

What is TestDaF?
TestDaF ("Test Deutsch als Fremdsprache")
is held by
licensed test centers many major language schools Germany are licensed
test centers for performing the examination TestDaF.
The TestDaF system offers various proficiency levels (TDN 3-5).
Hence, the language requirements can be adapted to the purpose of the study stay.
TestDaf is held around 4 times per year and TestDaF can be repeated as often as necessary.
